the two-faced Adopted Girl Who Melted CEO's Ice-Cold Heart-Chapter 598: Jealous?

Chapter 598

Chapter 598: Chapter 598: Jealous?
Delphine took Benjamin and Nicholas to the amusement park and didn’t return home until late. Cassius Turner safely escorted the beautiful trio back to the villa before leaving.
"I really liked that pirate ship ride. It was so thrilling!" Benjamin’s eyes lit up as he talked about the attractions they tried today.
"I liked the Harry Potter Adventure the most." Nicholas reminisced about his favorite immersive exploration game.
"Nicholas, when can we go on the ferris wheel?" Benjamin stood on tiptoes, trying to make himself look taller.
There were so many thrilling games today, but they were too small, and the park refused to sell them tickets for certain rides—infuriating!
"You’ll be able to ride it once you’ve grown up." Delphine chuckled as she entered the villa by inputting the password. She saw Kyla Zamora and Desmond Wood waiting by the door. The moment they spotted her, Kyla grabbed her bag and rushed forward like a whirlwind, appearing on the verge of tears. "Delphine, we’ve already imposed on you for too long. We’re heading back home now. If anything comes up, just call me."
The two of them didn’t wait for a response before leaving like their shoes were on fire.
The two little ones tilted their heads up, watching them with wide-eyed surprise and mouths agape, their reactions miraculously synchronized.
Delphine snapped back to her senses and turned her gaze toward the man sitting elegantly in the living room, casually reviewing documents. Her expression shifted slightly.
So Ignatius Leclair had chased off her friends?
The man looked up from the pile of s, his sharp eyes swept over Delphine’s loose, relaxed clothing and then briefly landed on the two little ones behind her. Having waited all evening, he didn’t show anger but instead let out a low chuckle and asked, "Was the amusement park fun?"
Perfect—a late return after spending the evening with some random man and his two kids. Did she think he was dead?
The two little troublemakers enthusiastically ran over to him, excitedly chattering all at once about their adventure-filled day.
"Benjamin, Nicholas, let’s go take a bath. It’ll be bedtime soon!" Delphine reached over, taking the children’s hands and leading them away.
After coaxing the children to sleep, an hour had passed.
When Delphine came downstairs, Ignatius was making coffee. From the moment she stepped through the door, she could sense that something had changed in the house. Once her eyes fell on the full coffee-making setup, her expression immediately chilled.
"Mr. Leclair, I feel strongly that I need to remind you about respecting personal space. This is my home. Moving in without permission, bringing all these things, and driving away my friends—such actions are not only inappropriate but outright excessive." Delphine firmly stressed the importance of boundaries.
Ignatius finished brewing the coffee, its rich fragrance wafting through the air. He glanced up, casually smirking as he responded, "I merely borrowed your kitchen to make a cup of coffee while waiting for my daughter. Isn’t it a bit much to act like I’ve violated your territorial sovereignty?"
His gaze skimmed over her slender figure briefly. Despite her youthful charm that exuded a dangerous allure, she had chosen to enter the chaotic entertainment sector, endlessly attracting attention.
The thought unsettled Ignatius, and his thin lips pressed into a displeased line.
Delphine rarely argued with others—in fact, she was no match for him. But right now, she felt a storm of frustration seething inside her.
Why was this man always haunting her space?
"And, from now on, don’t take my children out with other men for intimate outings." Ignatius spoke with a casual yet cutting tone.
Delphine trembled slightly with anger, but a sarcastic smile played on her lips. "I was merely taking the kids out with some friends for fun, and yet Mr. Leclair acts as though he’s been cuckolded and here to interrogate me. Don’t you think that’s ridiculous?"
Ignatius’s expression darkened in an instant.
